Within the Ambition line, the Drop Shot Explorer 8.0 is an essential model with a long-standing history at Drop Shot and a strong reception among our padel players.

Its popularity is due to its use of high-quality materials, the selection of the most innovative technologies in its manufacturing process, and its modern yet timeless design. The model is made with 3K Carbon; a bidirectional plain carbon with 3,000 filaments per carbon thread, typically used in high-end paddles, providing excellent playability and extra durability. The core uses Eva Soft rubber, the softest rubber, known for providing a great sensation of power. The faces incorporate the Smart Holes System, where holes are distributed in a curved, progressive pattern that improves the mechanical forces during impact, helping to generate spin and reduce vibrations. The 3D Face System adds a homogeneous 3D texture to the faces to enhance the ball’s spin.

All our carbon frame paddles are built using the Twin Tubular System, which incorporates a double tubular structure of carbon fabrics pre-impregnated with high-durability resins, giving uniformity across all face areas and greater stiffness to prevent frame vibrations. To further minimize vibrations on ball impact, the Explorer 8.0 includes two innovative technologies: Vibra Tech Angles, which is a structure of pronounced angles in the heart area that reduces vibration transfer to the handle area, preventing it from reaching the player’s arm; and the Cork Cushion Grip, a cork sheet placed in the handle area to absorb vibrations in the hand. Both technologies were designed by structural engineers and tested in our laboratory.

Regarding its design, the paddle features a modern yet timeless style. Gray tones dominate the paddle, perfectly combined with red design details.
